Join Us for MG-MI’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

This year marks an extraordinary milestone: 50 years of serving, supporting, and walking alongside the MG community. To celebrate, we’re hosting a special anniversary gathering on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM), 105 Monroe Center, Grand Rapids.

Join us from 5:00–8:00 p.m. for an evening of connection, reflection, and inspiration as we honor the people and moments that have shaped MG-MI’s journey. Guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, with the evening program taking place from 6:00–7:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person, business or black-tie optional attire is encouraged, and valet parking will be available.

As part of the celebration, we’re collecting memories, patient and caregiver quotes, fun facts, and photos from fundraising events, Christmas parties, conferences, support meetings, and other meaningful moments throughout the years. The evening program will feature voices from those who have been part of the MG-MI story, and we’ll also introduce our new Fueling the Care initiative—an effort designed to carry MG-MI’s mission forward for years to come.

We’re also creating a commemorative anniversary brochure to capture this milestone and celebrate the many people who make our community so special. Companies and individuals are invited to place ads, share messages of support, or honor someone meaningful through a tribute. Contact our office to learn more about how you can participate.
